Dr. Sydney Price - Small Animal Rotating Intern
Dr. Sydney Price was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. From the age of four, her love for science and animals was evident, sparked by cartoons featuring animals - an early fascination that led her to pursue veterinary medicine. Her career path solidified during her undergraduate studies, partaking in a summer shadowing experience at a veterinary hospital. In 2017, she began attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, then completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation Dr. Price worked for Banfield Pet Hospital for two years where she found her passion for general wellness and preventative medicine. She joined our Neel Vet’s intern team to enhance her skills in emergency medicine and surgery.
While at Ross, Dr. Price adopted Oliver and Mimi, who joined her older cat, Lizzy, to complete her three-cat household. Dr. Price is grateful her veterinary career has given her the opportunity to travel and gain diverse experiences. When she is not helping families enhance the bond they have with their pets, Dr. Price enjoys baking and enjoying the outdoors.
